Date: December 02, 19, 2001
Exposure: RGB 30:30:48 : 6 x 300s R,G & 6 x 480s B
Processing: RRGB using MaxIm for Image calibration,(12 flats each RGB, dark subtracted and median combined, 10 bias frames median combined, 10-300s, 10-480s darks median combined, alignment, normalization, color combining, and stretch. Neat Image for noise reduction and Photoshop for RRGB layering, final color balance and jpg conversion.
Conditions: Average, Mag 3-4 Skies
Scope: Vixen 102mm Flourite, f/9 (2.02 arcsec/pixel)
Camera: SBIG ST-8E/CFW-8, -25° Hutech LPS filter
Comments: I shot these on the darkest nights that were clear enough to image. December has been off and on this year with clouds usually taking over after 10:00 pm. Can't wait to get the C14 back in action.
