Exposure: | LLRGB 240:50:60:30 : 24 x 600s L, 5 x 600s R, 6 x 600s G, 3 x 600s B |
Processing: | CCDAutoPilot3 in control for all images - CCDSoftV5 for image acquisition. CCDStack for image calibration,(5 each LRGB flats, bias subtracted and Sigma Clip combined, 20 bias frames median combined, 10-600s darks Sigma Reject combined), alignment, normalization, and RGB combine. 5 interations of CCDSharp on Lum frame. Photoshop CS for final LRGB processing, final layers adjustment and jpg conversion. |
Conditions: | Fair, High clouds and some wind. |

Comments: | Combined images taken over two nights. The skies were soft for a good bit of the luminance but the transparancy was pretty good and I took them on my West side which is the darkest. I didn't get but 3 blue frames before the weather turned bad, so I wasn't sure how the blue would hold up. I always wanted a better image of M108 than the first one I took and this one didn't come out too bad. |
