My third try at this one. More is better. The "wings" are now visible! Using the information from the Handbook of Astonomical Image Processing (AIP4WIN) - Use darks 4-5 times the duration of the image. I took 15 darks at 1200 sec and median combined. I was able to get a smoother background. Plus, I am learning more about DDP, streching, and Histogram manipulation |
