Date: January 11, 2002 (Reprocessed 05/25/03)
Exposure: 12 x 180s L
Processing: Lum using MaxIm for Image calibration,(10 flats, dark subtracted and median combined, 10 bias frames median combined, 10-300s darks median combined, alignment, normalization, and stretch. Photoshop and PMView 2000 for final adjustment and jpg conversion.
Conditions: Average, Mag 3-4 Skies
Scope: Vixen 102mm Flourite, f/9 (2.02 arcsec/pixel)
Camera: SBIG ST-8E/CFW-8, -35°
Comments: With the CI700 mount, depending on temperature, its always a surprise to find out if it will guide tonight or not. This was no exception, as I has just finished imaging M78 and rebalanced, retensioned, and recalibrated to find that the guiding was very bad. By the time I got it all working again, it was too late to get the RGB shots. They will be added on the next clear weekend.
