Date: April 3, 2005
Exposure: LRGB 160:105:135:180 : 16 x 600s L, 7 x 900s R, 9 x 900s G, 12 x 900s B
Processing: CCDSoftV5 for image acquisition. MaxIm for image calibration,(10 each LRGB flats, dark subtracted and median combined, 30 bias frames median combined, 15-900s darks Sigma Reject combined), alignment, normalization, Hot/cold pixels removal, and RGB combine. 5 iterations of CCDSharp on the Lum layer. Photoshop CS for LRGB processing,final adjustment and jpg conversion.
Conditions: Varying conditions from clear to hazy over several nights with low humidity
Scope: C14 @ f/11
Camera: SBIG STL-1301, -20°
Comments: This one took 3 nights of imaging to get enough good exposures to process. Even with CCDAutoPilot2 focusing every other frame, the seeing conditions were less than favorable. But, around here you image when it's clear and take what you get. I used my Pyxis rotator and an external guidescope to image through the meridian and on till dawn............
