Exposure: LRGB - 120:60:60:75
24 x 300s L, 4 x 900s R,G, 5 x 900 B
Processing: CCDSoftV5 for image acquisition, MaxIm for Image calibration, alignment, and normalization. 16 flats Sigma Reject combined, 40 bias frames median combined, 20 1800s darks median combined. MaxIm for LRGB combine, Photoshop CS for final color balance and jpg conversion.
Conditions: Clear, low humidity
Scope: AP155EDF @ f/7
Camera: SBIG ST-8XE/CFW-8A, -25°
Comments: This was collected over several nights with varying seeing conditions. The luminance exposures were limited to 5 min due to the increase in blooming as I went longer. It took a good bit of work in Photoshop to get the bright star Alnitak's reflection out of the image.
